Day Pass Membership Terms & Conditions

This Coworking Membership Agreement is entered into in Penticton, BC, between The Standard Space Cowork Ltd, “The Provider” and you, “The Client”.

Both parties above agree to the following terms of the Service Agreement:

1. Service Types:

a) Part Time Hot Desk Membership

b) Full Time Hot Desk Membership

c) Day Pass

2. Terms:

a) Using Cobot, “The Client” may sign up for and change between memberships as needed with no restrictions.

b) Cobot automatically charges “The Client” credit card on file on the 1st of each month based on the “The Client” chosen plan. Additional charges may apply for meeting rooms or other resources booked by “The Client”, as per the listed resources on Cobot.

3. Services Provided by “The Provider”:

a) Desk with chair to work from.

b) Access to common seating areas such as couch, lounge chairs, high top tables.

c) Kitchen with table, fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, dishes and utensils.

d) Washrooms including shower.

e) Access to private meeting areas within the workspace as per the package chosen by “The Client” on Cobot.

f) Access to bookable resources through Cobot.

g) Internet access.

h) Power.

i) Printer.

j) Key code access to the building for the duration of this agreement.

4. House Rules:

a) Hours of access are 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

b) “The Provider” may close the workspace and meeting rooms no more than 2 working days in any given month for large events within the workspace.

c) Noise levels within the workspace are to be considered ‘inside’ level and must not distract other clients. We ask that you book and/or use necessary resources for calls/meetings that other clients may find distracting.

d) Except within your own headphones, please no amplified music from your devices. “The Provider” will play music at a reasonable level from 6am to 6pm throughout the work day.

e) The Standard Space is an inclusive and threat free environment with a zero tolerance policy for hate, racism, discrimination or verbal abuse. “The Provider” retains the right to cancel this agreement immediately upon these actions taking place by “The Client”.

f) Bikes and scooters may be brought to The Standard and stored in the designated area.

g) There is no vehicle parking provided on site.

h) Pets are not allowed inside the workspace at any time.

i) Children are not allowed as guests in the workspace, with the exception of Fridays after 2pm.

j) Visitors are not allowed in the workspace unless “The Client” has booked a meeting room to host the visitor.

k) Hot Desk clients may work from anywhere on the main floor that is not a listed resource (booked separately) or on the mezzanine in designated hot desk zones.

5. Liability:

a) “The Provider” is not responsible or liable for “The Client” goods and assets located within the workspace at 124 Estabrook Ave. Items brought into the workspace and/or left on site are at “The Client” own risk.
